1-2-4-All is a Liberating Structure that supports group discussions and decision-making. It involves four stages:

Individual reflection: Each person thinks about the topic being discussed for one minute.
Pair discussion: Two people discuss the topic with each other for two minutes.
Small group discussion: Four people discuss the topic with each other for four minutes.
Whole group discussion: The entire group discusses the topic together for five minutes.

Because it is designed to give everyone an opportunity to contribute and have their voices heard it can offer a more equitable and inclusive way to facilitate group discussions.
